My last planned post

dang! ohwell,

work experience! :D (i have to write this somewhere or else i'll forget what i did the whole week) :/

so 2nd week work experience was at Slade Pharmacy. to be honest, i actually under estimated this pharmacy because i thought it was just a shop that sold drugs and medications.

i was wrong! D:

Slade Pharmacy actually provides drugs and medical supplies to alot of the hospitals in Victoria and even some in NSW. bloody awesome! (y)

so what i thought was going to be a very boring week doing nothing much but retail turned out to be a huge and awesome week checking out the whole pharmacy! :D

First Day:
did office/administration work. first, i had to call up all these local doctor/gp centres and ask for their details, then put it in this form, then print it out so the shop keepers can refer to it when telling their customers about a local GP (incase customers ask for one). pretty cool! 8) never knew calling people would be that interesting. and some guy put me on hold for 5 mins. D: dam you man!

then the news of a gunman rang through the whole work placae, and my supervisor told me not to go out LOL dang it!

after that, i did more data entry which was just pretty bland, then i went home.

Second Day:
did more office work, which included usuing this folding machine, that folds a4 papers into thirds (like letters in envelops). the friggen machine jammed up so many times, and also managed to suck in 60 papers in one go. and that took ** aaaagges to sort out. (i was only supposed to place less than 50 a time, then i got kinda lazy and stuffed the machine up)

then i was under the supervision of Bond, this pretty cool asain guy who taught me how to dispense drugs, i.e, use this huge ass robot thing to shoot out drugs, like a huge vending machine or something.

he even let me use the computer to try dispensing a patients medications, so i typed a few numbers, clicked a few buttons before he immediately took control of the computer again and mumbled to me: "shit! the boss is giving me a funny look, let me take over for a bit." LOLOL but then the boss walked away and i actually dispensed something.. :D awsome!

then we went for a round, which means to get the drugs we dispensed and deliver it to the revelant hospital wards.

after, i just wated around during a staff meeting D: then checked out satellite pharmacy, which is a pharmacist who is situated in a ward checking the drugs that got delivered from the round (like the one before), and actually giving them to the patients.

Third Day:
i did compounding! :DDD
awsome fun.
compunding is when you pretty much make drugs like chemotherapy and other stuff, and also modifying drugs for a patient. its like a lab, where you have to wear a blue full body apron thing and a hair net and gloves and even shoe covers! o.o

i just watched around for the first hour or so, then after my supervisor got out a stash of med supplies and drugs and put them all on this table, where he showed me how to use a syringe, and inject this and inject that, and mix this, and what all these little things do and how to use this etc. pretty full on let me tell you. then he let me try to do some of it. i think we ended up wasting like $100 on med supplies LOL.

whats more he let me out a 3:15 :D

Fourth Day:
went over to head office, which was at a different location, but only like a block away. i realised i was supposed to call the school, telling them i  was somewhere else for the day, but i forgot D:

i just did more office work, folded 450+ tax invoices with the machine (jamming heaps the same time), then placed them all in envelopes. then i did more data entry. boring D: calling people up was much funn-er :D

during that day, Mr. Duckmanton called, and David, another cool asian guy, picked it up (back at slade pharmacy) and he's like: "...oh Wilkins' teacher? ok let me go get him can you please hold the line?" then he drops the line, forgetting to press the hold button LOLOLOLOLOL poor Mr. D got rejected?

Fifth Day:
i noticed that my timetable was stuffed up and it said for me to come at 1:00 not 10:00 so i asked my supervisor and she said it was cool for me to take half a day off. :D and of course, i didnt forgot to tell the school.

so i came at 1:00pm, and did retail T.T for the whole half day. but then David saw that i was bored so he took me to the back and showed me some more pharmacy stuff (y) medicine is awsome.

but guess what? Mr. D called again, but during the morning D: (while i was still at home!) and he asked to talk to me again, but my main supervisor said: "oh, he's um, at a different department right now and we cant reach him, can you call back after 1:00..?" LOLOLOL again! poor Mr. D

sadly, he never called back.

and i have a bad feeling he's gonna kick my ass next time he sees me LOL

anyway, so that was my 2 weeks of work experience. Slade Pharmacy was good! (y) even though David told me not to be a pharmacist.. "dont do Bio Medicine (at uni) like Bond is doing. its fun, but its just like an art subject.. only with a little bit of science in it. LOL and you have to do it for 6 years! it makes you feel like ur a doctor or something, but after you graduate, you dont even get treated like one. so dont do pharmacy! be a doctor man."

i shall definitely consider your advice.

ok
s'for now, cya later! :)

edits:
OH! and one last thing b4 i almost forget. i didnt get paid. nope. nothing. zilch. not the first week at peter mac. not the second week at Slade. i reckon this was because the guy who employed me said he was going on "annual leave" but really he was quitting his job D: and so he ended up not paying me at all, even though he said he would. HOMFGBAODSFADDNSAFDJ I ACTUALLY DID WORK MAN!

and also, Slade is located under Epworth hospital - richmond,  (the one 48 passes) which was where mum was at earlier this year. just letting you guys know. it felt weird walking around that hospital again.. :/

**and as for why some of the words are black /grey... o.o i dunno cbs fixing it**

ok goodbye :)

orright, four days ago...

it was my

SIS's BIRTHDAY! :DDDD (^^^<--cake?

whoo! everyone getttin old now D: she's a teenager!

(almost forgot to put it on my blog, but just thought i'd let you know anyway.)

also letting you know, i might leave this blog after a post on pharmacy work experience is uploaded, so yes. sad :( but im planning on keeping my Christ Alone blog up and running. of course! actually im like double writing right now, cos im writing something up for In Christ Alone and doing this one,.. D:

i kind of figured that this blog had no purpose in it, so yeh :/

But! on the positive side, i wanted to start a youtube channel which is going to be music based, where i just play covers, or even stuff i write myself (**if i can get my creative juices flowing that is..) so, yeh, i might start that up, and get that going very slowly.. slower than this blog. just something for me to do if i have free time. that will definately have a purpose in it, to play music! :D unlike this blog, which is just random words/paragraphs about me, myself and i and my opinions on random things. not that interesting to read i guess :/

OH! and a toast to the newly weds ;D
Gan Bei!!

orright. i think thats enough for now.
cya soon ;)

Long time no see..

Hello again!

yes long time no see indeed.

btw,..
Analyze this image: ;)

Answer: ITS MUM WITH NICK REVOLT! hahahaha! this happen ages ago but never really uploaded it.
he was at this Telstra shop, promoting Telstra LOL and we got him to sign two of these Telstra stress footy balls:
;D whoo!

*yes i just got out of the shower
*yes those are certificates on my wall
*no im not a nerd :)

so anyway, back on the exams. history was the most stupidest exam i have ever done in my life. i have a very good feeling that i failed that one :/

psychology was probably the most interesting! there was a question about Daniel and Mei, and another about 'Wilkins Picasso' hahaha! thats just bloody awsome!

what else was awsome?
IT'S SARAHrarara's BIRTHDAY!! SO happy birthday to you!

we got a spare! we got a spare!

this feeling is awsome. never had a spare period  before, so it feels so awsome! usually i would go home, but i got band after school so thats just stupid. Gotta stay around and do nothing for an hour or so.
(i conveniently solved this problem by going to the library and updating my blog, which i havnt touched for like a month :D)

So ye him sitting here with Daniel Wei and Declan, just usin these new looking computers at the library.

Man! So much has changed here, its no longer called the library, its now called the ‘Library eLearning centre.’ there’s two new modern looking clocks, with no numbers on it, new computers, like the size of a hardrive, that are just really weird, new furniture, table chairs, bookshelves, couches, and the fiction side is swapped over with the non fiction side. Really weird.

On Saturday, i competed in my first Taekwondo competition :D i was pumped :D i was ready to kick ASS! :DD except i got my ass kicked, badly D:

my first round match was with this guy called Ezahtullah, or Izzy. He beat me 6 – 1.

Oh and btw, the way these scores work is: body kick = 1 point, head kick = 3 points, a spinning kick equals = +2 points. Of course, im too noob to attempt a spinning kick.

Anyway, he somehow scored 6 kicks on my body, and i only landed one. I tried for his head, but he kept on ducking, frggn sneaky bast~,.. no, im kidding, never met him before except just then, but now he’s my friend so yeh.

Anyway, if you lose the first round, then you are eliminated from the tournament. Henry also lost his first round too, the scores, you can ask him. >.- so, since there was only 4 people in our division, two went on to fight for the gold, the loser receiving silver. We automatically thought that only one of us (henry and I) would get the bronze, so we had to fight for it. We were all like...: “that bronze medal is mine! There’s no way you are going to beat me!” and stuff. We were all pumped again, to fight for the bronze,.. then we realised we both get bronze medals for participating. LOL how stupid is that!?

and yknow, the drummer in that band used to be a music captain at our school :D

Btw, I really want to turn this blog in to a themed one, not just one that happens in my boring life :) maybe about stuff i learn at Church, or maybe musical stuff i don’t know suggest something in the cBox ---> :D

ok, 'sit for now

Thursday, April 22, 2010

for over a week and a half, i forgot my blog existed.

nah, not really D:

just didnt update much.

lol ,last post was on bridge church, *wow that was ages ago.

anyway, last week, our tap water turned yellow. i drank half a cup before mum was like: "WAIT! spit it out now!"
so i spat it out, and i could feel specs of dust in my mouth. yuk. so i got some 2 day old bottled water and rinsed my mouth with it. yuk again.

that disgusting supply of water lasted for 2 hours. D: before that time, i managed to cup a sample of it, (and glad wrapped it) and that sample is still sitting on the kitchen window sill right now. believe it or not, the water is clear! but there is a thin layer of dust that set at the bottom of the cup. eww, and i drank that!

i am happy to say, that Henry and I have made a [p]ledge, to tuck our shirts in and were ties for the rest of this year. :) if we dont, then we get cork-ied once in every limb. now i reckon thats just stoopid, cos who need violence and pain as motivation? lol i was happy just go along with that anyway.

YOU KNOW WHAT? yeh what? i have finally learnt how to kill a mockingbird. :) yes i have finally read the book. what a life time achievement that is :)

[for taekwondo] the stupid Scout group want[ed] their hall back. they tried to take over our wednesday night training session, but then they chickened out, and said, orright, next week, this hall is ours! now i have been wondering why our class wasnt canceled, but instead their meeting was canceled. overall, it is the scout's hall, we're just 'borrowing' it i guess. Daniel suggested that maybe it was the presence of hard-core martial artists that scared them away LOL

and last thing, we are on wikipedia! yepp. thats right. check this out;

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hakka_people

under the sub heading: '4.2 Hakka in East timor' section. it reads:

[Hakka People] In East Timor
There was a relatively large and vibrant Hakka community in East Timor before the Indonesian invasion in 1975. According to the local Chinese Timorese association's estimation, the Hakka population in 1975 was estimated to be around 25,000 (including a small minority of other Chinese ethnicity from Macau). During the invasion, many Hakkas were killed. According to a book source, it was estimated that about 700 Hakkas were killed on the first week of invasion in Dili alone. No clear numbers had been recorded since many Hakkas evacuated and escaped to Australia. Recent re-establishment of Hakka associations registered approximately about 2,400 Hakkas remaining (400 families, including part Timorese families) in East Timor.

Now Hakka diaspora can be found in Darwin and spread-out in major cities such as Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne of Australia, Portugal, Macau and small numbers in other parts of the world. They often are highly-educated, and many continue their education in Taiwan or China, while a majority of the younger generation study in Australia. The Australian government took some years to assess their claims to political asylum in order to establish their credentials as genuine refugees and not illegal immigrants, as partially related to the political situation in East Timor during that time. As no Asian country was willing to accept them as residents, nor to grant political asylum to displaced Hakka and other Timorese, they were forced to live as stateless persons for a time. Despite this condition, many Hakkas had become successful, and established restaurant chains, shops, supermarkets, and import operations in Australia. Since the independence of East Timor in 2000, some Hakka families had returned and invested in businesses in the newborn nation.

LOLOLOL
now thats cool ;D

Bridge Church,

i went to Bridge Church with my friend Sammy. Bridge church is a charismatic church btw, so its like really loud with a massive stage that has three projector screens in front of auditorium like seats etc. etc. you get what i mean. it is completely different to my church cos we're more 'traditional'. (a completely different atmosphere.)

anyway, guess what? Nick from sytycd goes to that church! yes i saw him :) so that was cool. he was voted out last week, so he came back to church LOL.

the speaker at the service was Reggie Dabbs. an awsome speaker. he speaks with so much expression, it was amazing all the way. he also jokes around alot.

anyway go see it all at: http://www.bridgechurch.org.au/

for now :)

and school's tomorrow D:

Tuesday, April 6, 2010

today was the 'tomorow' i was talking about last week.

ok so, what have i been doing? well i got my hands on a French movie called Banlieu 13, meaning District 13. it is pretty damn good (y). it made me go on a high for like a week, then life got boring again LOL if you are into free running, and martial arts, (like i am) then this is a good movie for you, but if not, then its just another action movie a guess

a couple of days ago, i tried cleaning out my dad's laptop and my laptop of viruses and what ever else was in our computers. i downloaded AVG free, which is pretty good for a free antivirus software and tried to see what i could do with it. i installed, it, updated it then ran the virus scan (supposed to scan the whole computer)on my laptop, and it worked pretty well. got rid of a few  viruses here and there and it was all good.

so then i do the same on my dad's computer, and ran the virus scan. all of a sudden the AVG firewall was deactivated, and all these other AVG components were turned off. and im like "wtf? this did not happen with my computer, whats going on here?" Then, the virus scan stopped after only scanning a few files. it was bloody scary! i realised that dads laptop was being hijacked. yes literally hijacked. someone else was controlling it! "farq!" says me. i decided to turn off the internet restart the computer and try the virus scan again. this time, it worked :) im a genius. (no not really lol) it turned out my dad's comp had 360+ virus files in it D:

now thats one badass hell 'ova computer! but it's clean now :)

like 2 weeks ago, mummy drained some of that left over antiobiotic: penicillin down the bathroom sink. penicillin btw, is a live thing, taken from mould (like cheese mould) the thing is, its stinks, and it is living. so there is like a whole batch of penicillin living down the drain, making the whole bathroom stink! D:

ok you see this thing? well i was at my cousin's Aunty's 21st birthday party, and the little kids and stuff were bored, so they got outside, with all these plastic stools and decided to make something: hence the picture above. as for how they got the top chair on top, i have no fr'ggn idea!

this structure attracted alot of people to come outside and have a look, and people were taking photos of it. (like me =])

so my cousin Jonathan (he's heaps older than me, a young adult now), goes to me; "man dont you just want to dive into that pile of chairs?"
me: "yes, why not, but it will hurt!"
jono: "ok. then,.. make sure there's no little kids behind the stack of chairs."
i walk over and see that no one is there
me: "*thumbs up".
since there were already people infront of the stack posing for photos, jono goes in front of the stack, and poses for a camera. i see a little kid (who i dont know) and i tell him: "watch, hes' going to push it over" he just stares at me in disbelief LOL
so jono poses for pictures and whatever, and pretends to accidentally lose his footing and step back and BOOOM! all these chairs are flying everywhere! and all these little kids and adults are like staring at him dumbfounded, and i just couldn't stop laughing LOLOLOLOLOL

song for today;

Reach out and touch somebody"

ok that's all for now. :)

uh huh.

hello im back :)

so first day of the HOLIDAYS :D. thats right, no more year 10, for now. no more chinese either.

anyhow, this brown spotted jack russel keeps popping up randomly. last year, it somehow got into our backyard. weeks later, i saw it on the street, on the way to school. since then, it has appeared at our backyard three times after that, two of those occasions happened within the last week D: it has a collar + tags, so im sure it returns home after evryday. it doesnt look starved, and it looks happy so who knows? maybe it ain't lost.

im just thinking how on earth it even got into our property..

i cant see any holes, or breaks in the fence, no diggings in the dirt, no nothing! well except for one, but we blocked it, and the dog found another way in. wierd i tell ya.

the other thing is, Cocoa (my dog) cant seem to figure it out either. im sure cocoa would have tried to escape our yard, into someone else' property, cos he's an in quisitive little boy. but he hasnt followed the jack russel on his way out from our yard..

maybe... Cocoa runs away while we arent at home, and comes back the arvo or something LOL it could be exploring the neighbourhood with that jack Russel.

ok, for now, :)

i'll write more later, or tomorow.

huhrou!

well i havnt posted anything lately, cos of the bad mood i was in :/

but im in a better one now.

so, first off, MUMMY'S HOME! (since like a few days now) but yes. she is now having the 'hospital at home' stuff now, which is pretty cool. nurses and doctors have to come to us.. hahaha. i think she will be dischraged from hospital in a few days time

thank the LORD. :)

anyway,..
went to the doctor, and he said i had a virus, so if any of you happen to have caught this virus of mine, then im sorry :/
but i think i am fine now. i just got a runny nose.

i also asked him about my loose/thin skin. he was definitely surprised..:

"wow, your skin is very elastic, but i wouldn't worry about it too much.."

lol, he made me feel stupid but yes doctor, i am worried tho -___-  oh well. i guess im a one in a million then. aren't i special? :D

MY TWO YEAR OLD COUSIN! whose name is uniquely: Octavious. He's so cute, and he knows how to use a digital camera. yes. he knows how to
1) turn the camera on,
2) take a photo,
3) press the view button,
4) show the photo to the person he just took it of,
5) then laugh! :D a very cute toddler laugh too.

also, he knows how to speak, and is at the age where he begins to understand and learn new words and stuff. he was out, and managed to learn the phrase 'Oh My God'. auntie and uncle, were like:

"no son, thats not a nice thing to say."
and then he says: "what do i say then?"
"um, Oh My,.. Baby"

so now, whenever he drops something, or does something he didn't mean to, he says in a very cute toddler voice: "Oh my Baby!"

what a cool kid  ;D

just watched half of the movie: Music and Lyrics. usually i'm not into romantic movies and stuff, but i thought it was pretty good, only because it was heavily based around music. nice.

ergh.

ok so, yesterday, i had to do that leadership stall at the expo thing in the hall again. lots of little kids and year 8's and 9's came.

Mr duckmanton was there too (again!?) he was at the robotics/science club stall this time.

while taking a break,

Me: "oh hey! you teach robotics?"
Him: "no, the science teachers just put me here anyway,"
Me: "oh ok."
Him (in his mock up animated voice): "BUT anyway, join the robotics club!"
Me: "yes, i did robotics last year in year 9, didnt like it tho :/ 'cos it was just LEGO"
Him: "oh yeh"
another random guy next to me: "so what do you do in the robotics club?"
Him (in his animated voice again): "we meet every tuesday lunchtime and play with robots! and the great thing about this club is that you can eat your lunch and play with robots  at the same time!"

LOL i just left, before i could laugh out loud in front of their faces. :/

last night, i went to youth group. it was awsome, as always because i learn a lot whenever i go there. anyway, at supper, Will made an interesting comment:

"There is no point raging at
who you are and your appearance.
You are given, what you are given.
What? I'm serious!
Raging about yourself being short,
does not make you grow any faster!"

i like his attitude.
for the record, that was comment was not made towards me.

and for the other record, late last night, i was not raging at my acne scars, crook jaw and long face on facebook (*yet) but no, i haven't raged at myself for a while now. Henry says I'm pretty tolerant. which is good sometimes, i guess.

today, i got ditched. instead of Henry picking me up, no one picked me up to go to taek training. dammit! i woke up early!
oh well,  it was probably my fault for not saying it clearly last night that he would take me there.

anyways, grandma was home today :) well she's being popping in and out at random days, and even staying overnight for some. dad was out at work, so grandma, me and sis took a tram to see mum. it was awesome, riding a tram with grandma.

at the hospital room, (private room btw) there was a massive hail storm! well it was just disgusting dark grey skies at first, then rain started to drop. Grandma was like looking out the window, sort of interested in how the skies got so dark, then all of a sudden, BANG! there was a fat hail rock right in front of Grandma (yes, she got a bit of a fright). the window was then literally littered with hail rocks. this is because (the way the building was made,) any hail rocks that hit the opposite and adjacent walls would bounce off and hit our side of the building. so we had like twice as much hail stones hit our side of the building than any other. we thought the window was going to break any minuet LOL

but no, of course it didnt.

im doing chinese and music theory now. my two most hated subjects. music in general is okay, but the theory is just stupid T.T i mean why do we have to write music according to some stupid rules some idiot made up and interpreted? WHY!! i can write my own music, and make it sound good, with out the stupid rules those fools follow. my goodness. its ridiculous!

"if you stick to traditions, you won't grow at all!"

okay i may be wrong, but i still think music theory is pointless.

now i better get back to it, otherwise my teacher will .. !

for now :)

Thursday, March 4, 2010

baby supertitious!

ok today was crap :(

well only a small 5 minuets of it was.

i had to do a progress recital (mini performance) for Music 1 2, and it was bad. i stuffed up and completely had a mental blank during the middle of it D: and stopped. then restarted that section. ARGH!! D:

oh well.

i also had a music theory lesson this morning at like 7.40 . that was crap too cos i suck at theory, my teacher used red pen and heavily marked the incorrect answers (which btw is like every second one)  and only gave small ticks. o.o? and then she wrote SEE ME ABOUT THIS NOW in caps red pen. and then she graded at the end of the three chapters she marked: Pass+ only.

well okok! i get it ok?

tonight was  the year 7 orientation thingo. and i had to stand/sit at this table, and talk to parents etc. about leadership. well i didnt really know what to say. so i improvised:

"hi, have a lollie, and feel free to take a info sheet,"

and then, while they have almost read enough, i say:
"Here at balwyn high, we really encourage leadership,
not just for year 7's but for every other year level too.
this is because there are so many experiences
and things you can take out of being a leader.
It really sets them up for life beyond school."

 then they say:
"well isn't it too late to become one? because they are all decided already?"

then i say:
"well it doesn't matter if you missed out this year, because there are other programs/groups you can join. also you have like 5 more years at Balwyn, so there are still plenty of opportunities to become one."

then i say to the kid next to the parent:
"become a leader, it's good fun. :D"

and then they walk off.

and that's what i did for an hour or so. just the saying the same thing over and over,
and we have to do it again during the day tomorrow :/

and Mr. Duckmanton was like looking and listening to one of those talks i had, and hes like (in a mocked up animated voice):
"y'know, you really have to sell it! be like, 'your kid could be like *points at pictures* Obama! or Mother Theresa, or Nelson Mandela, or .. this random guy in a hood..' your kid could do great things being a leader! and other etc." LOL thanks Mr. Duckmanton. great advice :D

That you don't understand,
Then you suffer,
Superstition ain't the way "

s' enough for now :)

G day. i am running out of title's :(

hi!

just celebrated Carol's 15th at Sofia with 24 other people. :D twas a good night.

i was actually surprised that my parents let me go LOL and dad was like trying to dress me up, and Amy was forcing me to somehow do my hair, and then dad is like: 'son, you what CK one?' (perfume) and im like 'no. dont need it!' and he's like spraying it on me already lol. anticipation?

thanks dad. >.

so i guess my parents are really happy with the friends and people i hang out with. which is good. :)

anyhow, the downfall today was that i didnt get to see mum.

well she's much better now. all the tubes and wires connected on her and in her have been removed, except for the usual drip needle thing. Doctors say she can head home this weekend! YESS

thank the LORD

'sit for now :)

doing well

Mum is doing well.

it was hard for us to see her after the operation, as she is in intensive care, and she is really weak, and has a lot of tubes attached to her. but she is expected to recover her strength and move to the normal cardiac wards by tomorow.

thank the Lord.

for now.

The fourth, the fifth
The minor fall, the major lift
The baffled king composing Hallelujah"
Hallelujah - Leonard Cohen

should i write sumthin? yeh i think i should

well first off, mum has her heart valve surgery first thing tomorrow morning. are we nervous? of course we are. but, she is at the epworth hosp, and they have the best cardiac (heart) team in Victoria. also, the head surgeon is like top 3 heart surgeon in the world, so that makes us even more confident. ALSO the LORD is with us. :D

last night, i did a speech with Natasya at the parent info night. now Mrs. Mitchell wants to publish it in the Lion Newsletter. Whhooo! the speech was much better than the one at the level assembly btw. cos that one, i didnt do so well.

thirdly, Henry drank so much Red bull, he couldnt stop shaking at band rehearsal LOL his hands and lips was quivering as he was playing the French horn.

Henry: "i cant take the intensity of this music anymore! i cant stop shaking and my heart beat is faster!"
Me: "BUT THE MUSIC IS SO SLOW, and so is your heart beat!"

the things RedBull does to you.. :/

for now =]

Hi

hello.

well ever since i started writing my resume, i began to miss being a kid. doing all those things i used to do. :(

but i can't stay a kid forever..

so im gonna move on.

"when all you got to keep is strong
Move along, move along like I know you do
And even when your hope is gone
Move along, move along just to make it through"
Move Along - All American Rejects

i love that chorus. :)

"Sunny days, everybody loves them
Tell me baby, can you stand the rain?
Storms will come, this we know for sure
Can you stand the rain?"
Can You Stand the Rain - Guy Sebastian version

and that one too.

oh well.
i shall get back to my h/w.

Heart of life?

"I hate to see you cry
Laying there in that position.
There's things you need to hear
So turn off your tears and listen:

Pain throws you heart to the ground,
[but] Love turns the whole thing around
No, it won't all go the way it should
But I know the heart of life is good"
Heart of life - John Mayer

scars dont last, right?

today, went to a doctor to get the blood vessels in my nose 'scarred' with silver nitrate because of my blood nose issue. it's all good, except i think the doctor missed. well she got the blood vessels alright, but i think a drop of that burning chemical stuff hit the wrong place, so there is an ugly black mark just on the edge of my nose now D:

well anyway, it burned. the numbing spray she used didn't last very long. so after it wore out, the burning started to sting like madness. swallowed a couple of panadols and its all good.

bad thing is i have to repeat it again for the other nostril in two weeks :S

 "We're just ordinary people
We don't know which way to go
'Cos we're ordinary people
Maybe we should take it slow"
Ordinary People - John Legend

wilkins' prom

so where was i the past three days?

well... mum wanted to go camping so we did! :D we went to Wilsons' Prom. so what exactly did we do there?

you will not believe it.

i took them to sealers cove! yes, the
same place we went to on our duke of ed trip. =]

so yes it was surprising that everybody was ok with walking 20k's to sealers and back. took us the whole day D:

remember this view?this stupid tree lol
oh the memories of carrying the 65L or so Backpack walking three hours of this lol

me: We had to cross this creek that was chest height to get to our campsite.
Mum: what creek? what are you talking about! that's barely ankle deep
me: oh my~!

LOL it was a fun experience.

i remember when Leslie asked me at the end of the hike,
"if i gave you 50 bucks, would you do all that again?"
me: "any day, i would!"

well i did, and took my family as well :D

now since this blog is supposed to be about music, i shall quote my first song:

"Staring at the blank page before you Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find
"
Unwritten - Natasha Bedingfield

phuh.

so today..

went out with the asian mob to Box Hill to eat phuh, which is Vietnamese Beef & Chicken Noodle Soup. =] (aka Pho)
so yes we were eating pho to John Mayer's new album, Battle Studies. <-- a good album that. anyway i went home early to go to optometrist, but we called them and it turned out that our glasses weren't ready yet so what a waste of time that was. D: so i just went home, played some G.tar Hero, watched some tennis, took a nap.. then Louis woke me up with a call t.t anyway was channel flicking today, because stupid home and away was on instead of the tennis. i came across 7pm Project. one story they were talking about was facebook and how ridiculous it was that people have like a thousand friends. some brain analogist person stated that a human brain can only succesfully maintain 150 meanignful relationships lol.

yes, half the people on facebook i dont even know D:

and as mr.Hobbs once said: "facebook is awsome. you find all these people that you thought were dead ages ago."

well enough from me.

OH! and hewitt lost. whoo made my day :) but verdasco lost too D:

Tassie.

Tassie is cool. it actually seems pretty small but once you explore it, it’s actually quite big.
Some things about Tassie:

1) One third of the whole thing is national park. And there are twenty two of them through out Tassie.
2) There’s a lot of road kill. (while I was awake in the car, I counted like 90 or sumthin, but most of the time I was sleeping so there’s probably much more.)
3) The cities don’t feel like cities, just country towns with big buildings
4) The roads and signage around here are ridiculous! Seriously. If you miss an exit, (due to the poor signage) you have to travel like another 10 km’s of u turns and stuff just to get there again.
5) While we were at Cradle Mountain Nt Park, Mr. Rudd was there.. o.o
6) While we were at Freycinet Nt Park, He was there also.

Now unless you are seriously bored, read the below.

First day:
Got on the spirit of Tas. Its massive! And pretty nice too. They have everything there, restaurants, a gift shop, amusement centre (arcade etc) lots of kiosks and bars a massive lounge and much more I just probably forgot to mention.

Surprisingly, the bunks weren’t as cramped as I thought it would. It was plenty of room for four. =] (y)

Second day:
Road kill count: 35 :O
Kind of off topic, but when your hand is really cold and put it under warm water, it feels like it’s burning, right? And also when you smack your funny bone, a whole lot of blood rushes right through that arm, right? Well both of them mixed together is NOT good.

You see, I woke up, my hands and feet were cold so I thought I’d put some more clothes on. So I hopped off my bunk and managed to land a hard blow on my funny bone against the metal railing thing.

Ouch.

Then, all of a sudden, a WHOLE HEAP of warm blood rushed through my arm right through to my fingertips.

OMG, IT BURNS!!! D:

So I'm like holding my hand in pain yelling out “ARGH!!“ (2 full seconds after I actually hit the bloody thing) and everyone else in the room are like: “.. ?”

Anyway, so yeh I woke up at 5:00. And managed to do so much! We got off the Spirit of Tas, drove a long way, visited a few national parks, went with a tour group inside a cave that has stalactites and stalagmites, which is totally awesome.

and by then, it was only 11:00am. o.o

So we went to a honey farm shop. Then headed off to the city of Launceston.

Third Day:
Road kill count: 25, still :O
First we went shopping at Launceston, then we visited a lavender farm, called the Bridestowe lavender farm. Which happens to be, the largest lavender farm in the world.
Then we went to Cataract Gorge, First Basin which is a pretty nice place. Mum, Dad and sis went swimming in the outdoor pool. I didn’t want to cos Im not that much of a fan of swimming…
Anyway after, we all went on the chair lift over the basin. Beautiful views (y) :D

Fourth Day:
Road kill count: 8. now that’s much better.
Off to Strahan, a coastal village. On the way, we went to Chicken Feed, the best discount shop ever!!
Bought this Chinese army style hat. Well Dad described it as that.
He told me (in Hakka): “you know that hat, it looks like one of those Chinese army ones.”
Me: “yeh I realised that”
Dad: “when I see you wear this hat, it reminds me of dumb high school dropouts that join the army”
Me: “Oh.. really?”

LOL craaaaaap :/

Moving on..
Dad also pointed something out which I missed all this time, a map we picked up at the info centre is actually made by a company called ‘Wilkins Maps’. :D that’s cool.

Visit us at www.wilmap.com.au

Fifth Day:
Road kill: 2. Much better..
We took this rack and pinion train to Queenstown.
It was a rail built “on the edge of civilisation” to transport gold, silver and copper from Queenstown to the port of Strahan.

Oh and I had my first encounter with a leech! Whoooo…? It didn’t bite me. So I picked it off, and it was cold.. ew.

Sixth Day:
Road kill count: none!
We took a cruise to the Gordon River, and then to Sarah Island, also known as Devil’s Island, cos it was a “penal settlement from hell,” the convicts say. There is this story about the whole island and apparently, the last convicts (before the settlement closed) escaped all the way to Chille.

After the cruise, we watched, a play called “The Ship That Never Was” which explained the story about that boat escape all the way to Chille. It was pretty funny because they had to use random people in the crowd to play parts. It turned out that my Dad(who’s English is not that great) was “John sumthing from the 6th regiment who is half, a mile, away,.. fishing!” LOL :D

At night fall, we watched the Shearwater birds return home. The ranger told us we could legally hunt these animals without a license. :O ew. Anyway, the ranger also said the birds taste like corn beef wrapped in pork fat deep fried in fish oil.

Seventh Day:
Road kill count: 7
On the road to the city of Hobart. 4 hours T.T
On the way, we visited Cradle Mountain National Park. Did a 3 hour walk..

Eight Day:
Road kill count: 2. =]
We went to Tasmanian Devil Conservation Park. :D saw the Tassie devil. Man I love those things. They are the clumsiest carnivores ever man. They can’t even run properly and they can’t hunt. So they scavenge for anything. Mainly road kill, and even other dead Tassie devils too. Anyway they are endangered because of a fast spreading face tumour that spreads when Tassie devils fight and bite each other. (they fight for food you see..) once they have the tumour, they die five months later. Sad =[ but most of the Tassie devils are at the southern and western coasts and the tumour has not yet spread there yet, so that’s good.

We then went to Port Arthur, the main penal settlement of Van Diemen’s Land. We saw some cool buildings and stuff.

Ninth Day:
Road kill count: 8
En Route to Freycinet national Park.

Oh and the water there is yellow. =[

Tenth Day:
Road kill count: 2
All Freycinet Nt Park walks were closed. Due to bad weather. =[
‘not even the prime minister could get in’ LOL

We then went to a seafood farm. Dad ordered muscles, scallps and oysters. And a few raw oysters that Mum and Dad ate. yuk. I'm not a great fan of seafood but Mum Dad and Sis Loved it.

We then went to Bicheno’s Blowhole. There were pretty big waves crashing, and the waves shot up like up to 4 metres!

Eleventh Day:
Road Kill: argh F it. I cbs counting now
We went sea Kayaking, (y)

We then went to wineglass bay lookout. Man, the walk to that is really tiring o.o its 40 mins of stairs..

We then went to the city of Devonport for a night before we went on the spirit of Tassie the next morning.

Twelfth Day:
Home :)
